Are you bursting with artistic ideas but just need a bit of cash to get going?

Creative Scotland (formerly the Scottish Arts Council and Scottish Screen) and Young Scot have teamed up to offer you the opportunity to fund your creative talents.

This fund is able to award £200 to individuals or £750 to groups of young people aged 11 to 25 (inclusive).

You can get money to:

• Publicise a youth orchestra performance

• Hire space to choreograph new work

• Purchase props for a show

• Help to fund your own exhibition

...or for any other artistic, creative or cultural idea that you would like some help with.

To be considered for a grant you need to fill in an application form.

You can either download the application form (pdf), email Young Scot on infoline@youngscot.org, or phone Young Scot InfoLine on 0808 801 0338 (Mon to Fri 10am - 6pm) to get a copy of the application form posted out to you.

Make  sure you take a look at the "How to fill in your form" page before you start your application. Once you have finished send your form to :

The Grants Committee meet every eight weeks. Applications for the next meeting must be recieved by Monday 20 September and we can only look at applications for projects and ideas that start after Wednesday 29 September.
