Now you can search for the closest Young Scot and European Youth Card Association (EYCA) discounts on your iPhone!

Young Scot and EYCA have launched a discount application for the iPhone that is now available for download on iTunes and costs 62p. This application is designed to help you when travelling with a European Youth Card (of which Young Scot is part of).

The principle is very simple. The application shows a number of discounts closest to your current location (through GPS navigation). You can then narrow down the search by choosing a category such as Food or Shopping, or by typing in keywords. When you have found the discount you are looking for, you can open detailed info as well as the exact location on a map. Alternatively you can call or e-mail the place for more information.

Remember, you can use your Young Scot card when travelling Europe, and this app will help you to find great discounts on tourist attractions, food, accommodation etc. Though remember to check with your Mobile Phone Provider before you travel as data roaming abroad can be very expensive!
