Underwater welder? Meteorologist? Electrician? The energy sector offers career opportunities in a wide range of exciting roles.
It is estimated that up to 95,000 energy related jobs will be created in Scotland by 2020.
The energy industry employs people with a wide range of qualifications and there are jobs at all levels, however the highest demand is for people with science and engineering skills.
For some of the roles you will need to have a university degree in a relevant subject (such as science, technology, engineering, maths) but for others you can enter at SVQ level or via a modern apprenticeship. Up to £1 million will be made available to create as many as 500 Modern Apprenticeships in Scotland's energy and low carbon industries over the next year.
The energy sector can offer interesting, challenging work in a wide variety of roles. It provides excellent training, good salaries and excellent prospects for progression.
