Are you a happy snapper? Do you enjoy taking pictures on your mobile phone or with a digital camera to capture and show what you and your friends have been up to?
‘See Us’ is new project that encourages everyone in Scotland to take photos which they think represent Scottish culture in 2012. The idea is that people from around the world will be able to see these pictures and have a better idea of what a creative Scotland looks like. If you want to get involved submit your entry at www.blipfoto.com/seeus.
Closing date for entries is 31st October.
Young Scot have teamed up with Blipfoto and Creative Scotland to run a special competition connected to ‘See Us’, for young people aged 11-26 years. Take a photo and tell your story of what a creative Scotland looks like through your eyes.
Stuck for ideas? Creatively can mean anything. You might have taken a great picture of you and your friends or a special event you were at or even of your favourite sports team. There are no rules for what can be included in the ‘See Us’ competition.
Upload your photo to www.blipfoto.com/seeus and tag your photo with special key words – “youngscot”. And you’ll be entered in to an exclusive competition with a range of top prizes for the winners.
