Waiting for exam results is bound to make you nervous, but remember that qualifications aren't the only thing that decides your future. If it's good news, great, if it's not, you've still got options.
There is a lot you can do to get the most out of your exams, coursework and revision, to achieve the results you want. You just need to know how to manage your time effectively, how to get ahead of your coursework, where to get help if you need it and not be afraid to speak up when in difficulty.
Revision is an important part of preparing for exams and reminding yourself of the skills and knowledge that you have acquired. It is important that you make a plan which sets aside time for revision but also incorporates breaks and leisure time.
You may feel that homework is a waste of your time because it is time that you could better spend out with your friends. Homework is often given out to make sure students understand a subject. If you don't do your homework, you could fall behind in your school/college work. You might find it helps to schedule your social life around your homework as a reward for your hard work.
Coursework is work that is completed at home and in the class room and this usually contributes to a percentage of your final grade. Coursework is marked by your teacher or tutor and then moderated by an examination board.
